About The Program

Supporting orphans is highly valued in Islam - whether its providing them with clothing, offering them shelter, offering them education opportunities, or helping them in any other way. At Sadaat Aid Foundation, we wanted to do it all! In 2025, we started a partnership program with Khpal Kor Foundation - an orphanage based in Mingora, Swat, Pakistan. At Khpal Kor Foundation, the epicenter of the support model is to provide education and life-skills to orphans; thus enabling them to achieve self-reliance as they grow up. Supporting education, however, is not enough since many of these kids either don't have a home clsose by to go to after school, or no home at all. Similiarly, these kids require support for food, healthcare, and other basic life needs. Khpal Kor Foundation therefore offers a hostel as well, where these orphans are offered a place to stay, food, basic healthcare, and other basic facilities under the care of Khpal Kor Foundation's staff.

This model fits perfectly into Sadaat Aid Foundation's goal of offering sustainable support through education and skill development.

Building Trust

At SAF, we always do our due diligence before spending your donations towards any cause. Afterall, we are responsible for ensuring that your donations, whether its sadaqa or zakat, reaches those who are eligible for it and gets used in the best possible sustainable way. As part of the process, we solicit feedback from various references, investigate the recipients using other means, visit and meet them, check their background educational and financial data etc.

In case of our orphan support program, we have personally visited the Khpal Kor orphanage and personally and interacted with the kids who are enrolled there. We have had detailed evaluation of the support process, and were satified that your donations will be used to support enrolled orphans in the best possible way.

What Does it Cost?

The total average yearly cost for supporting an orphan living at Khpal Kor village and studying in the Khpal Kor school is around PKR 1,60,000. This translates to approximately 800 CAD or 550 USD

While we ask our donors to give any amount they feel apprpriate, we have also established a "sponsor an orphan" program where you can sponsor an individual orphan by donating the amount equivalent to their annual expense. In this program, we share the orphan's details with you, and also obligated to provide you update about his progress through your donation.

About Khpal Kor Foundation

The words "Khpal Kor" mean "Our Home" in the local language. Khpal Kor Foundation's multiple campuses - boys, girls and nusery - are located in the beautiful valley of Swat in Pakistan. Khpal Kor Foundation (KKF) is registered as a charity in Pakistan, established in 1996, with a focus on providing care, education, and support to orphaned children. KKF is formally registered with the Department of Social Welfare (Pakistan) under the (Registration and Control) Ordinance 1961). These orphans neither have the financial means, nor the family structure to continue their education, and hence in immensely benefit from the support provided to them by KKF. The orphans’ education, boarding (including food), clothing, and routine healthcare is supported by KKF till Grade 12 (F.Sc.), with further extended financial support for most talented to pursue university level studies.
