Educational Assistance

Our field team often receives direct and unsoliciated feedback from fund recipients and/or their families. Sometimes, it's a conversion ending with vigorous thankful handshakes, and sometimes, it's as simple as a letter of gratitude. Posted below are an appreciative letter from a father whose son's education was supported by SAF, written to our field coordinator in Kotri, Sindh, Pakistan.

  A letter from Mehtab's father

"I am a very poor person, and do not have the necessary funds to help my son attain an education. [For this,] I am very much obliged to Muhammad Hanif and all his colleagues [SAF] who bore all the educational expenses for my son Mehtab. Again, I am very thankful to all of them." A letter from Muhammad's father

"My son, Muhammad Ali is currently enrolled at the Govt. Ishat-ul-Islam High School in Kotri. I work as a labourer and work hard to make ends meet for my wife and kids, but due to poverty I am unable to bear the costs of sending my son to school. During this difficult time, I was encouraged by Muhammad Hanif to let my kids continue their education in various class levels. [Now,] my five kids are enrolled in school and are receiving an education. I am highly grateful to Muhammad Hanif and their friends (SAF) that helped me. My elder son, Muhammad Ali is in 9th grade, and I pray for a rewarding future for him and all his companions in these efforts." Ameen, Masood Ali, father of Muhammad Ali.

Sadaat Aid has been supporting Kotri since 2010, and Jauharabad and Karachi since 2012. Sadaat Aid supports students from grade 2 through high school.
Many students supported by Sadaat Aid attend government schools, which are often underfunded. SAF allows these students to graduate high school, opening many more opportunities for these students.

Sadaat Aid has been supporting Karachi since 2012, spending C$5,486 annually.
Sadaat Aid supports students from grade 2 through high school, offering university support for particularly exceptional students.
Some students supported by Sadaat Aid from elementary school have now graduated or are currently in college. These students pursued degrees in Bachelor of Commerce, Chartered Accounting, and Bachelor and Master of Science.

Sadaat Aid has been supporting Jauharabad since 2012, spending C$2,386 annually.
Sadaat Aid supports students from grade 2 through high school, offering university support for particularly exceptional students.
Some students supported by Sadaat Aid from elementary school have now graduated or are currently in college. These students pursued degrees in Bachelor of Commerce, Chartered Accounting, and Bachelor and Master of Science.

Sadaat Aid has been helping students pay exam fees since 2010, especially in the Kotri area, spending C$6,999 annually.
Sadaat Aid supports high school students with this program. Most students supported by this program were taking Matric/SSC and Intermediate/FSc exams, while there were also some taking B.Sc, and M.A exams. With the help of Sadaat Aid, the students can afford the fee for these essential exams.
