Who We Are
The Sadaat Aid Foundation (SAF) started in 2013 as an aggregation of several charitable efforts from Canada that worked to enable education for underprivileged youth in Pakistan. Comprised of professionals and local volunteers with deep roots in rural and poverty stricken areas, we are determined to bring impactful change to the less fortunate.
What We Believe
Literacy is a right.
In an age where some countries are discussing internet access and income as basic human rights, we believe it is appropriate not to forget literacy. Deprivation of literacy has serious visible humanitarian consequences. Women's equality. Being born a girl should never be detrimental to your freedoms or opportunities. SAF is gender neutral, and always will be. Self-sustainability. We want our charitable efforts to be catalysts towards healthier societies. Programs that target the root of the problem, instead of patching the damage are the best ways to help. Full distribution. Our commitment to provide $1 of aid for every $1 of donation. Staff and sponsors cover running costs, not you. |
